Back to Thimpu

Today we go to Thimpu the capital of Bhutan it takes only 2 hours to get there so we left at 9:15 am.

On our way back at Dochula pass, our guide had arranged for us to meet a local TV crew (BBS) where we were all interviewed and filmed for their local TV news.

Once we finished we continued to Thimpu to a hotel at an altitude of 2570 m up in the mountains where the wind was cold. The hotel was called peaceful, and it was.

We visited the capital for lunch, and found out that there are no traffic lights in Bhutan intentionally; their intersections have a police officer directing traffic.

We gathered in front of the TV at 6:00 pm to watch the news and saw the coverage of our trip.
